AHA: Infrastructure Decision Support for Disaster Management

All Hazards Analysis Core (AHA)
Technology No. CW-19-09
The All Hazards Knowledge Framework (AHA) is a software that provides decision support for critical infrastructure knowledge discovery across five mission areas: prevention, protection, mitigation, response, and recovery. AHA stores and models infrastructure systems as linked multigraphs, allowing for a quick evaluation of the potential consequences of artificial and natural disasters. The software has unique features, such as creating functional-based infrastructure dependency knowledge models and conducting discreet event infrastructure cascade simulations. The framework uses existing infrastructure schemas or allows for custom schemas and has three distinct constructs for knowledge capture and transfer. AHA also provides visualization capabilities, including geographical representation and graph analytics, to enhance situational awareness.
