Apollo: Tracking and Identifying Changes in Workflows
Workflow tracking and change identification tool for nuclear and industrial settings, offering image analysis and comparison features for enhanced monitoring.
Technology No. CW-17-14
Apollo is a tool to help workers at nuclear/industrial facilities track and identify changes in various workflows. It can align and analyze sets of images, extract and sort them by capturing time stamps, and automatically compare each image with a reference image. The user can view the differences between the selected and the reference images in a Comparison Display View. The program includes a difference threshold slider bar to allow the user to visually narrow down the photos that need to be manually inspected. The difference threshold indicates absolute differences in the images, which can be affected by lighting and camera movement. The optimal use of Apollo requires using the same camera in a fixed position to acquire the before and after images.
