LRS/SORT: Document Capture System
A system for managing and routing documents for compliance and peer reviews in research organizations, capturing drafts, metadata, and final versions.

LRS/SORT is a workflow management system that is designed to
capture documents and route them for compliance and peer reviews.
It does not contain any technical information itself, but it
functions as a business system for managing and releasing
information from a research organization.
The software captures draft
versions of documents and their associated metadata, routes the
documents and metadata for compliance and peer reviews, and
captures the disposition of reviews and reviewer comments. It
also allows for the capture of final/published versions of
documents and processes record and reference copies to
appropriate repositories such as DOE OSTI, record systems, and
library databases.
