RadOps: Simple Low-Process Radiation Simulation for Unity Game Engine

Real-Time Dose Tracking for Enhanced Safety and Operational Planning
Technology No. CW-25-13

This open-source code is designed for XR applications in the Unity Engine, providing a method to emulate radiation sources and track total dose and dose rates to users. Utilizing Unity's transform and collision systems, it approximates various radiation sources and their collective dose delivery. Ideal for radiation safety survey teams, hazardous operations first responders, and designers of radiation shielding systems, this tool enables users to visualize engineering and operational plans in a virtual environment. It allows for quick evaluations of shielding configurations and operational procedures, providing relative dose information in real-time, unlike traditional Monte Carlo processes that are time-consuming and unsuitable for real-time calculations.
